Johzen K.K. may also terminate all or part of the services after giving notice for a certain period.

Under the Employment Security Act, employment placement providers must not encourage a User whom they placed in a job to change jobs for two years after that placement. Please understand that, where this restriction applies, Johzen K.K. may be unable to provide services.

5. Grounds for Terminating Services

Johzen K.K. may suspend or terminate services if it determines that a User has violated the prohibited acts set out in these Terms, that the relationship of trust between the User and Johzen K.K. cannot be maintained, or that the User is otherwise unsuitable. This includes cases where the User has not contacted Johzen K.K. within one month after Johzen K.K. notified the User regarding the services.

Johzen K.K. shall bear no liability for any damages arising from the suspension or termination of services. In such cases, Johzen K.K. is under no obligation to answer questions about its decision or take any other action in response.

6. Handling of Personal Information

Johzen K.K. will appropriately collect, use, provide, and manage Users’ personal information in accordance with its separately established “Handling of Personal Information” policy.

7. Accuracy of Personal Information

Users must provide accurate personal information to Johzen K.K. and Employers, without omissions or inconsistencies. If an Employer or another third party raises an objection, claim, or demand arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent personal information provided by a User, the User must address it at their own expense and responsibility and ensure that Johzen K.K. is not inconvenienced.

8. Submission of Documents

Users must promptly submit the following documents if requested by Johzen K.K.:

(a) Identification documents needed to identify and verify the User, including their name and address.

(b) A residence card or certificate of authorized employment to verify the User’s status of residence.

(c) Any other supporting documents requested by an Employer.

9. Job Matching

Johzen K.K. will compare the information submitted by a User with an Employer’s hiring requirements but cannot disclose its evaluation criteria or reasons for a decision. Even after receiving a User’s request to apply to an Employer, Johzen K.K. may, at the Employer’s request and on its behalf, assess the User’s suitability for the position.

10. Employment Terms

At a User’s request, Johzen K.K. will facilitate communications to confirm an Employer’s employment terms and other contractual conditions. The User must, however, confirm those terms and conditions directly with the Employer, at the User’s own responsibility, before entering into a contract. The User acknowledges that employment terms communicated by Johzen K.K. do not constitute a final guarantee of the details of that contract.

11. Prohibited Acts

Users must not:

  1. Declare or provide false information when applying for or using the services.
  2. Defame, insult, or threaten other Users, Employers, employees of Johzen K.K. or Employers, or other third parties involved in Johzen K.K.’s business.
  3. Infringe the property, privacy, portrait rights, reputation, copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of other Users or third parties.
  4. Interfere with the operation or administration of the services, or damage Johzen K.K.’s reputation.
  5. Engage in acts contrary to public order and morals or the law, or acts that constitute, lead to, or may lead to criminal conduct.

12. Verification with Employers

During the hiring process, if Johzen K.K. identifies an inconsistency, or a possible inconsistency, between information about employment terms or other contractual conditions provided by an Employer and information reported by a User, Johzen K.K. may verify the facts with the Employer.

13. Exclusion of Antisocial Forces

Users represent, including with respect to the future, that they do not belong to antisocial forces and will not engage in illegal conduct such as violence, fraud, threats, or obstruction of business. “Antisocial forces” include organized crime groups; their members or persons who ceased to be members within the past five years; associate members; affiliated companies; corporate racketeers; groups posing as social or political activists to make improper demands; organized crime groups using specialized knowledge; and persons or entities equivalent to any of the foregoing.

If a User breaches this representation, the User agrees to accept termination of the Career Consulting Services without objection.

14. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Users acknowledge that use of the Career Consulting Services does not guarantee that they will change jobs. Users also agree to resolve any dispute with an Employer concerning employment terms or other contractual conditions through discussions with the Employer, at their own responsibility and expense.

If a User suffers damage as a result of using the Career Consulting Services and Johzen K.K. is found to have been negligent, Johzen K.K. shall be liable only for direct and ordinary damages arising from that negligence and shall not be liable for other damages. This limitation does not apply where the damage results from Johzen K.K.’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

15. Liability for Damages

If a User violates any provision of these Terms and causes damage to Johzen K.K., a related party, or a third party, the User must compensate the affected party for that damage.

16. Changes to These Terms

Johzen K.K. may change these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms will be posted on a webpage linked from the homepage of Johzen K.K.’s Career Support Website. A User who continues to use the Career Consulting Services one month after the revised Terms are posted will be deemed to have agreed to them.
